Vegan Sweetened Condensed Milk Recipe

Ingredients:

1 can (13.5 oz) full-fat coconut milk or soy milk

1/2 to 3/4 cup coconut sugar, cane sugar, or maple syrup

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:

Combine milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.

Stir constantly until it comes to a gentle boil.

Lower heat and simmer for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and reduced by about half.

Add vanilla (optional), stir well.

Let it cool before transferring to glass bottles or jars.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
