Vegan Amazing Chocolate Mousse

Rich, silky, and oh-so-indulgent — this mousse proves you don’t need dairy to enjoy true decadence. Topped with whipped coconut cream and dark chocolate shavings, it’s a dream dessert that melts in your mouth.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups dairy-free dark chocolate chips

  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk (chilled overnight, use only the thick cream)

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or agave)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt


‍ Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate gently over a double boiler or in the microwave in short bursts. Let it cool slightly.

  2. Whip coconut cream until fluffy using a hand mixer.

  3. Add syrup, vanilla, and salt to the whipped cream. Mix until smooth.

  4. Fold in melted chocolate carefully until well combined and mousse-like.

  5. Chill in glasses for at least 1–2 hours before serving.

  6. Top with vegan whipped cream + shaved chocolate for that WOW factor.


Tips

  • Use chilled aquafaba (liquid from chickpeas) for an even lighter mousse.

  • Add a splash of espresso for a mocha twist.
